Empower Automotive

I cannot believe in 2026 that there is an automotive repair shop that has such excellent customer service. I would give 100 stars to this place. I was in a real tight spot with my Subaru on the last weekend of our family vacation. I left messages with the local Subaru dealership, Empower, and a couple others, all on a Sunday. Most were responsive, but Bre from Empower called me just as I was pulling into their parking lot. It was about 45 minutes before the shop was supposed to open. She took my information, they got my car on the hoist in less than 3 hours, and out of there in less than 6 hours. I really thought I was going to have to miss more than Monday of work and not even get my car back till Tuesday or Wednesday. Unbelievable service, communication, and pricing. They even gave me a gift bag. They will never be forgotten...... Thanks to everyone at this place. You will be hearing from me and my wife.

Air Conditioning in my Toyota stopped. Honestly, my first call was to Toyota proper and their appointment was a week out. Called Empower Automotive and got in in 3 days. Obviously, my air was fixed and that part went very well. Support staff (People I had to interact with) were wonderful. They answered my text messages within minutes. Truly made the experience tolerable. The final bill came in $300 less than the bid. Overall a great business.

If there was an option for more stars I would give you 10! I have never had an experience with any mechanic that was as amazing as this one. They make you feel comfortable from the get go and they exceed at customer service. I was on a quick trip to Traverse City and my car stared flashing all the warning lights at me. I pulled in saw they were busy and thought they might not be able to help me. They squeezed me in to do an assessment on my car yes it was a bit of a wait but it was worth it! They took me into the back and walked me through in person, all the problems that they found on my car, also they took pictures and videos and sent them to me. I felt so comfortable with their assessment that I booked an appointment to have my car fixed by them. (Despite the fact that I live 2 1/2 hours away) The entire time they had my car I was given frequent updates by Tim and they had my car ready for me by the date that I told them I would be able to have a ride to come get my car. I will definitely be coming back in the future and would recommend them to anyone that needs a mechanic in the TC area.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish! They took time to send a video while my car was up on the rack to show me what the strange sound was and then added an educational video that explained the problem and the repair so I could understand the work they needed to do. They worked with my schedule to get the car in and had a loaner available for me. The repair was done and completed on time! Everyone was friendly and I can tell they enjoy working there.

My experience I tried to give perhaps you will get it twice but that’s ok because I had such a good experience I don’t mind repeating it. I feel so secure when my vehicle is in your hands I don’t worry as I know you excel in your honesty that can’t be said for all businesses. I wrote Nicole a separate review but in this review I wanted to let the team that worked on my car for all they did to get it running, I appreciate your skill in finding out what the problem was. Austin I thank you for keeping my family member that helps be with things like this since my husband died and I need help when repairs are needed, your thoughtful communication was wonderful and he would pass on to be what you told him what was going on to find the problem that was so kind and I appreciated all that worked on my car. Thank you to all of you Barbara Benner
